Mr. LoPresti, 55, of New Egypt, died suddenly Oct. 30, 2012, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Prior to retiring in 2001, he was employed as a producer and editor for CBS News in New York City, where he received an Emmy in 1996. Before that, he worked for CNN and also as a professional musician. Surviving are his wife, Kathy B. LoPresti; six children, Jacquelyn Ferrara and her husband, Jim, of Dresher, Pa., Dr. Christine K. McGinnis and her husband, Sean, of Philadelphia, Pa., Jeffrey B. Prendergast Jr. and Rikki of New Egypt, Steven Prendergast of Philadelphia, Pa., Daisy Prendergast and Noel of Jackson, and Andrew LoPresti of New Egypt; a granddaughter; two brothers; a sister; four brothers-in-law; two sisters-in-law; and a foster son, Richie Ladavich of Philadelphia, Pa. A funeral Mass was held at the Church of the Assumption, Wrightstown, followed by interment in the church cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Reindancer Therapeutic Riding Center, 31 Archertown Road, New Egypt, NJ 08533. Arrangements were by the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township.
