Mrs. Petro, 70, of Howell, formerly of Freehold Township, died Jan. 15, 2013, at home. She was employed as head housekeeper for Day’s Inn of Freehold. Surviving are two sons, Joseph Petro Jr. and James Joel Petro; two daughters, Christine Thomas and Francine Enright; a stepson, Frank Petro; a stepdaughter, Joann Petro; a brother, Tennent Emmons; three sisters, Vera Baggitt, Bertha Reynolds and Dolores King; 13 grandchildren and a great-grandson. Arrangements were by the Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
