Mrs. Stein, 84, of Jackson, died Jan. 18, 2013, at home. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she resided in Brooklyn Heights and Freehold before moving to Jackson nine years ago. Prior to retiring, she was employed as a registered nurse and worked in the public healthcare system. Surviving are her husband of 59 years, Alvin; a daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Rory Pszenitzki of Redding, Conn.; a sister, Roberta Gewirtz of Freehold; and two grandchildren. A funeral service was held at the Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold. Interment was private.
