Mr. Joynes, Sr., 85, of East Brunswick, died April 1, 2013, at home. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as an electrician at Ford Motor Co., formerly of Edison, where he worked for more than 30 years. He was predeceased by a daughter, Emily Lilla, and by a grandson, Daniel Lilla. Surviving are his wife, Evelyn Joynes; three sons, Arthur Joynes Jr., and his wife, Denise, of Eagan, Minn., Dennis Joynes of Jackson, and Jeffery Joynes of Eastampton; a sister, Emma Moskal of Flemington; six grandchildren; and many greatgrandchildren. Funeral services were held at Spotswood Funeral Home. Interment was in Reformed Church Cemetery, Spotswood.
