MARLBORO — Child Find is a statewide program to locate and provide services for individuals between the ages of 3 and 21 who may have physical, mental or emotional difficulties.
Screening, professional guidance, and an educational program, if needed, are available free through the Marlboro K-8 School District.
Possible signs of learning disabilities include a child who does not play, a child who is unusually quiet or overactive, or a child who seems to have a vision or hearing problem, according to a press release.
A Marlboro resident or family with children who are not serviced, including homeless and migrant individuals, who have a concern about their child’s developmental milestones, such as learning to speak, walk, talk, or toilet train, may contact the Marlboro K-8 School District’s Department of Special Services at 732-972-2000, ext. 2035.
