The Edison Elks Lodge No. 2487 recently held its installation of officers.
The following officers were installed: Stewart Warner, exalted ruler; George Kraemer, leading knight; Dave Erskine, loyal knight; Doug Pearson, lecturing knight; Nancy Dunham, secretary; John Hansen, treasurer; Jim Kurdyla, esquire; Bill McIntyre, chaplain; Ed DeBaker, inner guard; Chris Gregis, tiler; Ken Vercammen, justice; and Tom Conway Jr., five-year trustee.
At the installation, Keith Ryan was awarded Elk of the Year, and Jack Hughes was named Officer of the Year.
The Ladies Auxiliary was also installed. Officers are Peggy Shipman, president; Terri Kraemer, first vice president; Lorraine Gifford, second vice president; Cindy Ryan, corresponding secretary; Marge Santos, recording secretary; Claire Mack, historian; Dorothy Smith, chaplain; Mary Conway, guard; Nina Berner, treasurer; three-year trustee, Joy Hoffman; Gloria Tighe, twoyear trustee; and Fran McDonnell, one-year trustee.
The Edison Elks have provided 40 years of service to the Edison community with services for special children, veterans and youth.
