Winners of today’s primary election in Hopewell Borough are incumbent Democrat (regular organization) David Mackie, of West Prospect Street, with 165 votes, and Democrat Chris M. Fossel, of South Lanning Avenue, with 133 votes,
Coming in third was Democrat Ryan P. Kennedy, of West Broad Street, with 114 votes.
The winners will seek two three-year terms on Borough Council on Nov. 5.
No Republicans filed in April for the two seats.
