Mr. Riggio, 69, of Jackson, formerly of Carteret, died May 30, 2013, at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood. He was employed by the Borough of Carteret for five years as the Director of Community Development. Prior to that, he worked for AT&T, Somerset. He was predeceased by a sister, Susan Imbimbo. Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Alice Ellermann Riggio; two sons, Keith Riggio and his wife, Peggy, of East Windsor, and John S. Riggio and his wife, Stacee, of Leesburg, Va.; a daughter, Donna Rosoluk, and her husband, Joe, of East Windsor; a brother, Ben Riggio of Conn.; a sister, Maryann Riggio; and three grandchildren. A funeral liturgy was held at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, Jackson, followed by entombment in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Arrangements were by the George S. Hassler Funeral Home, Jackson.
