Transportation issues, residential development issues, economic growth opportunities are but a few of the multiple issues facing all of area municipalities. Looking at these issues with a regional view, the Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Regional Mayoral Roundtable on June 27 at the Hyatt Regency Princeton.
”We believe that the challenges faced by our municipalities are not unique issues and the collective impact is felt across township and municipal government lines by all of us,” said Peter Crowley, president and CEO of the Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce. “We believe that solutions are reached earlier, answers more easily resolved and outcomes implemented quicker when we work together.”
Mayors from seven communities — Hopewell Borough, Hopewell Township, Pennington, East Windsor, Hightstown, Princeton and West Windsor — plan to attend.
The “Regional Mayoral Roundtable Breakfast” program was designed with these goals of looking at issues regionally and cooperatively and is made possible with support from event sponsor PSE&G..
The public is invited to attend and guests will have the opportunity to network with local officials and Chamber members. The Roundtable will take place from 8-10 a.m. Tickets are $25 and include a full hot breakfast. Registration can be done on the Chamber’s website at www.princetonchamber.org.
