Plays-in-the-Park will present ‘Spamalot’

Plays-in-the-Park will present the Tony Award-winning musical “Monty Python’s Spamalot” as the second production of its current season. Performances will run July 17-27, with no show on July 21, at the Stephen J. Capestro Amphitheater, 1 Pine Drive, Edison, within Roosevelt Park.

The musical comedy “Spamalot” is “lovingly ripped off” from the film “Monty Python and the Holy Grail” and follows the misadventures of the legendary King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table.

Tickets can only be purchased on the night of the performance. The box office is open from 5:30 to 9 p.m. on the evenings of all performances. Tickets are $7 for adults, $5 for seniors age 60 and over, and free for children ages 12 and under. All shows begin at 8:30 p.m.

Patrons must provide their own seating, and the height of a chair back cannot exceed 40 inches. Visit www.playsinthepark.com for more information about the box office and seating policies.

Patrons requiring assistance due to a disability are encouraged to contact Jackie Neill, recreation supervisor, at 732-745- 3936 prior to attending a performance.
