‘Golden Classics’ CD to benefit Elijah’s Promise

The newly released CD, “Larry Campanella Sings the Golden Classics,” will benefit the Elijah’s Promise soup kitchen in New Brunswick.

Larry Campanella of the Dayton section of South Brunswick has been singing for 25 years throughout New Jersey and southern Florida. His love of the music from the late 1950s to the early 1980s led to the recording of “Golden Classics,” his rendition of songs by Frank Sinatra, The Beatles, Frankie Avalon, Frankie Valli, Bobby Darin, Johnny Mathis, The Looking Glass, Barry Manilow, James Ingram, and Gary Puckett & the Union Gap.

The CD was recorded at Fire Dog Studios in Spotswood.

As a special-education teacher in New Brunswick, Campanella learned about Elijah’s Promise and decided to donate 50 percent of all proceeds from the CD to the organization, which provides more than 1,400 nutritious meals to those in need on a weekly basis.

CDs are being sold by Campanella at 15 Aster Way. The cost is $15, including shipping and handling. Checks should be made payable to Palm Beach Record LLC. Those interested can call 732-501-4226.
