BUSINESS HIGHLIGHTS: Somerville Aluminum celebrates new location

by Bradley Koltz
Congratulations
I recently joined well over a hundred others in celebrating the grand opening of a new 15,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art showroom for Somerville Aluminum.
In the past 60 years, Somerville Aluminum has grown from an aluminum storm windows business to a full-service home remodelling company. Now in its third generation, they have moved from downtown Somerville to the new location in Branchburg that features three fully functioning model kitchens, walls of fixtures and doors, and even a fully functioning shower in the model bathroom.
Lieutenant Governor Kim Guadagno, state and local representatives and the mayor joined owners David Gropper and Gary Shiman for the ribbon-cutting, with the lieutenant governor giving the keynote address.
You can learn more about Somerville Aluminum at www.somervillealuminum.com, but really, you need to visit this amazing facility in person to experience the quality and craftsmanship firsthand. The new facility is located at 20 County Line Road in Branchburg.

Working primarily with high school educators and nonprofit organizations, the foundation has teamed up with local leaders to determine how to spark financial literacy education in all age groups.
