Jeffrey Pulero, 38, of Trenton, was charged with burglary, hindering apprehension and possession of burglar tools after he was discovered in a storage room at the Go Calendar store at the Quaker Bridge Mall around 10 a.m. Oct. 5, according to police Lt. Mark Ubry.
The store manager heard a noise in the storage room and went to investigate, Lt. Ubry said. He found Mr. Pulero in the storage room and confronted him. Mr. Pulero told him that he was there to make renovations.
The manager escorted Mr. Pulero out of the store, and subsequently found that Mr. Pulero had forced open a door to gain entry.
Quaker Bridge Mall security officers were notified and found Mr. Pulero in the food court hallway. The police responded and when a police officer asked him for his name, he gave the officer a false name. Police were able to determine his true identity.
Police also found that he had a crow bar and other tools in his possession. He was taken to the Mercer County Corrections Center on warrants.
