Rosalind Casey of Carteret is among the first Provident Bank’s “Committed to Share” sweepstakes winners for Middlesex County.
Participants can enter for a chance to win one of three top cash prizes, with a matching donation to a charity of their choice.
The top prizes will be awarded on Dec. 14, including a grand prize of $5,000 cash and a $5,000 donation to a charity; a first-place prize of $2,500 cash and a $2,500 donation to a charity; and a second-place prize of $1,000 cash and a $1,000 donation to a charity.
In addition, one winner will be selected at random each day through Nov. 23 to receive a $100 Provident Visa Gift Card for themselves and a $100 donation to a charity of their choice.
Casey’s charity of choice is Rahway Food for Friends.

Kaplan Test Prep will offer a free ACT/SAT combination practice test at the Metuchen Public Library, 480 Middlesex Ave., on Nov. 8. Registration is open to Metuchen residents in grades 9-12.
The nearly four-hour test offers an opportunity for students to decide which test is right for them. Students will receive scores and feedback via email from Kaplan Test Prep that compares their performance on each of the analogous test sections of the two exams.

Two Middlesex County residents have been named Physicians of the Year at Ocean Medical Center, Brick. Dr. Rana Ali of Edison and Dr. Jonathan Banibensu of Parlin were recognized along with 14 other physicians selected by the nurses at Ocean Medical Center in Brick.
Each year, the nurses at Ocean Medical Center celebrate the relationship that they have with members of the medical staff by nominating physicians that they feel have exceeded their jobs with their dedicated service, enthusiasm, and support.
