13th annual Resolution Run on New Year’s Day taking registrations
Registration is underway for the 13th annual Resolution Run 5-K run on Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2014.
The race at 11 a.m. starts and finishes at the Hillsborough Municipal Building at379 South Branch Road, Hillsborough.
Registration closes when race limit is reached. It usually fills up early (last year it was Dec. 15), but will close at the end of Christmas Day. No race-day registration.
At this date, registration is $33, or $30 for USATF-NJ members and 18 or younger may take $3.
Runners will receive a long-sleeve, hooded Resolution Run sweatshirt.
There will be age groups for prizes in five-year increments.
There will be 92 awards, plus random prizes.
The 5K race is walker friendly, too, and a is a great way to start off your new (or continued) emphasis on a fit lifestyle.
Proceeds help support several noteworthy groups, including Project Graduation (an all-night party on graduation night)at Hillsborough High School and to pet-friendly organizations.
The presenting sponsor, Hillsborough Massage Therapy LLC, is again offering a $5 discount off a 60-75- or 90-minute massage with online registration.
