PRINCETON AREA: Police blotter

Princeton
   Hyunchul Hwang, 29, of N. Tulane Street, was arrested on an active warrant out of East Brunswick Municipal Court in the amount of $120 after a motor vehicle stop on Nassau Street at Palmer Square at 11:40 p.m. Oct. 24.
   A dark blue and silver Trek six-speed mountain bicycle valued at $150 was reported stolen from the John Witherspoon Middle School on Walnut Lane on Oct. 24.
   A dress valued at $1,395 was reported stolen from Zoe at 11 Hulfish St. on Oct. 24. The suspect is described as a tall woman with a thin build, long black hair and a French accent.
   A cellular phone and keys were reported stolen from a locker at the YMCA on Paul Robeson Place on Oct. 25. The keys were used to enter a vehicle parked in the YMCA lot and an additional phone and the victim’s wallet were stolen. The total value of the loss is over $400.
   Plainsboro
   A portable toilet at Schalks Crossing Park was spray painted with the words “Bad Wolf” between Oct. 25 and Oct. 28.
   John N. Hobaika, 26, of Edison, was arrested at 2:32 a.m. Oct. 26 after police stopped his 2008 Honda Accord on Route 1 for traveling 75 mph in a 55 mph zone. He was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving and speeding.
   The front left tire on a blue 2002 Ford Windstar minivan belonging to a resident of building 23 on Pheasant Hollow Drive was slashed between 8 p.m. Oct. 22 and 9 a.m. Oct. 23. The vehicle was parked in the parking lot for building 23 at the time of the incident. The approximate cost of the damage is $100.
   Several images were spray painted onto the press box for West Windsor-Plainsboro High School North’s football field. The letters “SHY” and a heart-shape were sprayed several times using red paint. The damage is estimated to be approximately $150.
