LAWRENCE: Police blotter

   A 48-year-old Rocky Hill woman reported the theft of her pocketbook and its contents, which she had left unattended between 4:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. while she was at the Quaker Bridge Mall Nov. 5. The pocketbook was valued at $50 and the wallet at $30.
   A safe was stolen from the Halo Farms store on Spruce Street at 1:58 a.m. Nov. 6. Police discovered the front door glass had been shattered and the safe was missing from an office. The safe was valued at $300 and damage to the door was estimated at $600.
   A 15-year-old Trenton girl was charged with shoplifting clothing worth $150 from Macy’s at 6:25 p.m. Nov. 6. She was released to her mother’s custody.
   Alexander Bates, 21, of Belford, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after Rider University security found three pipes and a grinder in his Olsen Dorm room at 4:01 a.m. Nov. 7.
   Jewelry and a Playstation and games, and an Apple MacIntosh computer, worth a combined $3,000, were reported stolen from an Alcazar Avenue home between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Nov. 7. Entry was made by pushing in an air conditioner in the window.
   Someone stole the copper coils from two rooftop-mounted air conditioning units at the Pizza Hut restaurant on Brunswick Pike between Oct. 17 and 11:19 a.m. Nov. 7. Damage to the air conditioning units was estimated at $24,000.
   An undisclosed amount of cash was stolen from the Subs and Bites store on Brunswick Pike at 2:26 a.m. Nov. 8. The burglar smashed the front door glass with a landscaping rock to gain entry. Police were alerted by the burglar alarm.
   Jorge Vega, 33, of Hamilton, was charged with driving under the influence after police found him asleep in his car that was parked in front of the Princeton Acura dealership on Brunswick Pike at 12:23 a.m. Nov. 10. He was released to a friend’s custody.
   A North Face ski jacket, valued at $249, was reported stolen from the Ski Barn store on Brunswick Pike at 1:25 p.m. Nov. 10. Two men and a woman entered the store, and the alarm went off as they exited the store.
   A 35-year-old Hamilton Township man reported the theft of his shopping bag, which contained clothing worth $45, at the Quaker Bridge Mall between 2:30 p.m. and 2:40 p.m. Nov. 11. He had left the bag unattended for a few minutes.
   Richard Talbot, 23, of Bordentown, was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after he was found to have marijuana and a pipe in his possession when the car in which he was riding as a passenger was stopped for a motor vehicle violation at 5:17 p.m. Nov. 11.
   Elizabeth Gatens-Dandrilli, 19, of Trenton, was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana after she was found to have a small amount of marijuana when the car in which she was riding was stopped for a motor vehicle violation at 10:23 p.m. Nov. 11.
