Michael Ruger, Hopewell Township
To the editor:
I would like to offer my congratulations to Michael Markulec and Bruce Gunther for winning seats on the Hopewell Valley Regional Board of Education and to Neil Seftor for his willingness to enter the race.
I also thank the Hopewell Township residents who reached out to me during the campaign and who voted for me Nov. 5. I appreciate your support.
I would like to offer one piece of advice to anyone who has considered running for an elected position do it.
This election was my first campaign. I enjoyed meeting so many people, including my fellow candidates, and hearing their ideas about how to improve life in Hopewell Township.
I look forward to continuing to be involved and hope others will join me.
