PRINCETON: Two injured in crash involving police car

Two Princeton residents and a police officer complained of pain after a car crash on Sunday.

    Two Princeton residents and a police officer complained of pain after a car crash on Sunday.
   The police vehicle had lights and sirens activated when another vehicle turned in front of it at 12:23 p.m. on Nov. 24. The accident happened on Princeton–Kingston Road near Dodds Lane, according to Princeton police.
   The police officer was responding to a boating incident on Lake Carnegie at the time of the accident. Both vehicles were traveling east on Princeton–Kingston Road when they collided, according to police.As a result of the impact, two passengers in the second vehicle — a 28-year-old female from Princeton and a 13-year-old male from Princeton — were taken to the local hospital after complaining of pain, according to police.
   The officer was treated and released at the scene for a complaint of pain, according to police.
   Both vehicles were damaged and were towed from the scene, according to police.
   No charges have been filed pending the completion of an investigation by Sgt. Chris Tash.
