Neve Shalom, 250 Grove Ave., Metuchen, will hold a Scholar-in- Residence program Dec. 6-7.
Rabbi Burt Visotzky, professor at the Jewish Theological Seminary, will present “Bible: The Word of God or Hand of Moses?” on Dec. 6; and “Scripture and It’s Interpretation: Continuing Revelation” and “The Sins of Sodom are Not What You Think: Text Study” on Dec. 7.
On Dec. 6, services will be held at 7:30 p.m. and the rabbi will speak at 8 p.m.
On Dec. 7, services will start at 9:30 a.m., followed by a light kiddush lunch.
It is not necessary attend meals to participate in services or the program.
