The Roosevelt Park Family Ice Skating Rink is now open for the season. The rink is located at 151 Parsonage Road, Edison.
Hours of operation are 5-9 p.m. Wednesdays through Fridays; 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays, with sessions from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., 2-5 p.m. and 6-9 p.m.; and noon-7 p.m. Sundays, with sessions from noon-3 p.m. and 4-7 p.m.
Admission fees are $6 for adults, $5 for children age 17 and under, and $5 for seniors.
The fee to rent skates is $5, while the cost to sharpen skates is $8. Helmets are sold for $8. Sales tax is included in all fees.
New this season is the Skate Zone Café, a newly expanded food concession that offers a variety of hot and cold drinks and snacks, including chicken nuggets, hamburgers, pizza, mozzarella sticks and grilled cheese sandwiches.
The rink will be closed Christmas Day.
