PRINCETON — Three people and a boat had to be pulled from Carnegie Lake just before noon during the snowstorm on Tuesday.
The craft experienced steering failure while navigating on the lake, and the current caused the boat to drift to the dam where it came to rest, according to Princeton police.
The group was on the lake working as contractors, installing aeration devices to keep the lake from freezing at the dam, according to police.
Jeffrey Horn, 50, of Bangor, Pa.; Kevin Shank, 29, of Pen Argyl, Pa.; and Todd Schramm, 40, of Oxford, were brought back to shore safely. There were no reports of injuries and everyone was dry at the time of the rescue, according to police. Princeton First Aid and Rescue Squad and the Princeton, Kingston and Plainsboro fire departments responded to the location.
