YMCAs team up for Passport Program

Beginning this month, five Middlesex County YMCAs will join together to offer its members the ability to use participating YMCAs.

YMCAs participating in the Passport Program include the YMCA of Metuchen, Edison & South Amboy; Raritan Bay Area YMCA in Perth Amboy; and Raritan Valley YMCA in East Brunswick.

“Our members are mobile. Whether working outside of their hometown or traveling for their children’s activities, members now have the opportunity to get healthy wherever they find themselves in Middlesex County at a time and place that is most convenient for them,” said Scott Lewis, president and CEO of the YMCA of Metuchen, Edison, Woodbridge & South Amboy. “I, along with my colleagues — Steve Jobin, president and CEO of the Raritan Bay Area YMCA in Perth Amboy, and Gina Stravic, executive director of the Raritan Valley YMCA in East Brunswick — are thrilled to offer this exciting member benefit.”

The YMCA network represents the largest provider of child care services, including summer day camp. It also offers aquatic programming and instruction, wellness programs and services in Middlesex County.
