Temple Emanu-El sets March events

Temple Emanu-El, 100 James St., Edison, has the following events scheduled for March:

 Seussical Jr., 2 p.m. March 9. Youngsters from the community will perform in the first youth musical production. Tickets are $5 at the door.

 After a kid-friendly Purim service at 11 a.m., the annual Purim carnival will take place from 11:30 until 1:30 p.m. March 16. Attendees will have the chance to play games and win prizes. All who come in costume will receive a prize. Bring canned or boxed food for the food pantry.

 A rummage sale will begin at 9 a.m. March 23. Used and new items will be available.

 Shabbat Alive, March 14, a joyous and participatory service with music provided by a three-piece band, starting at 7 p.m.

 Tot Shabbat, 6 p.m. March 21. This is a program aimed toward younger children up to 6 years old and includes a Jewishthemed craft project.

 An international small-plate dinner will be offered 6:30-9:30 p.m. March 29. Attendees can sample familiar and exotic foods from around the world. Recipes will be available. This event is open to all ages. The cost is $15 per person. Children under age 5 are free.
