Muses in the Vineyard 2014

By Brian McCloskey
The Hills of Warren County will be alive with the sound of Music!  On May 17 & 18., Four Sisters Winery and Foul Rift Productions will swing the gates open for Muses in the Vineyard 2014, A Benefit Festival of Music Of the Women, By the Women and For EVERYONE!
The third annual staging of the festival expands to a two-day format and promises a remarkable weekend of music, wine, food and fun at family friendly pricing.  Featuring local, regional, national and international touring singer/songwriter acts like New Jersey’s own Red Molly, Nashville’s Amy Speace, Christine Havrilla, Sarah Ayers, Maura Kennedy, Trina Hamlin, Austin’s Jess Klein and many more.
In addition to some of the finest music available in one place at one time, Muses in the Vineyard will feature wine tastings and sales by the glass or by the bottle of Four Sisters Winery’s award winning Garden State wines, a fine assortment of arts & crafts vendors, children’s activities and available food and beverages to satisfy any palate.
This year’s festival with all net proceeds benefits The Epilepsy Foundation of New Jersey,  The foundation is an affiliate of the National Epilepsy Foundation, which is a state-wide, non-profit charitable agency dedicated to helping to improve the quality of life for people affected by epilepsy and their loved ones.
Epilepsy affects one in 26 individuals and their loved ones. Unfortunately because of the stigma that is still associated with having Epilepsy, it is not often spoken about. Many do not realize that Epilepsy is more common than Cerebral Palsy, Parkinson’s disease and Multiple Sclerosis combined. The staff of EFNJ is out in the community dispelling these myths and providing information through their statewide trainings and events
Muses in the Vineyard is a not to be a missed event and a great way to snap out of the winter doldrums and welcome Spring!! Spend a day or spend the weekend. Festival details and discounted advance online ticketing are available at www.musesinthevineyard.com  or stop by the winery.
The winery is conveniently located about five miles directly off the Hope/Blairstown, exit 12, of I-80 in the scenic rolling hills of Warren County NJ on County Rte. 519.
