EDITORIAL: Good luck to Capt. Sutter

There’s also good news in the paper today for Princeton police Capt. Nick Sutter, who will be chosen by the town council on Monday to become the new chief of police.
And he should be able to pretty much hit the ground running since he has been the senior officer and in charge of the department since the former chief left under a cloud last year.
It seems that most parties will be happy to see him appointed.
The mayor, council members and even the police union have been singing his praises.
For his part, Capt. Sutter said, “I would be tremendously thankful and honored to have an opportunity to lead the department.”
It is an extremely important job for him and community which he will serve and protect.
