The annual Metuchen Treasure Hunt will begin at 9:30 a.m. June 14 at Mount Zion Lodge, 483 Middlesex Ave., Metuchen. The event is free for all boys and girls in grades 1-5.
Children will need a chaperone for the treasure hunt, as they will be walking all around Metuchen. The event follows the style of “National Treasure.”
Participants will solve puzzles that lead them from one location in Metuchen to another, with each clue bringing them progressively closer to the final treasure.
