The Friends of the Metuchen Public Library will host a trip to the world-renowned New York Public Library on May 14.
The major exhibit highlights “Why Children’s Books Matter.” Attendees will have access to the library’s famous collection rooms and other special exhibits.
The bus will leave from Library Place in Metuchen at 10 a.m. and leave New York City at 4 p.m.
The cost is $45, which includes transportation and a gratuity for the bus driver. Personal items may be left on the bus. Payment is due by May 13.
