 The Friendship Circle, an organization that provides social and recreational programs for individuals with special needs, will hold its annual Walk4Friends on May 18 at the Vonage Campus, 3 Main St., Holmdel.  “Forks and Fears: Eat Healthfully and Enjoy It” will be held at 10 a.m. June 23 at the Jackson Library. The presentation will discuss real-life dining scenarios and easy methods to stay on track to getting and staying healthy. In addition, the program will include health and wellness information and blood pressure, cholesterol and glucose screenings.  Howell-Jackson Knights of Columbus Council will hold its 30th annual charity golf tournament on May 19 at the Pine Barrens Golf Club, Jackson.  A paddle auction will be held May 24 in the cafeteria at Saint Veronica Church, 4215 Route 9 North, Howell, to raise funds for continued programs and equipment for Boy Scout Troop 300. Tickets are $10 per person (bring a few rolls of quarters to play the game), and include one paddle, dessert and beverage.
