Duke Farms at 1112 Dukes Parkway West in northern Hillsborough will host the next meeting of the Raritan and Millstone Rivers Flood Control Commission on Wednesday, May 28.
At 5:30 you can arrive and explore in and around the Farm Barn orientation center to learn more about Duke Farms’ environmental stewardship. At 6, there will be a presentation by Duke Farms employees with a walking tour (weather permitting) of parts of the 2,700-acre estate.
Duke Farms has implemented their mission of environmental and ecological stewardship into a natural setting.
After a break with light refreshments at 6:30, the flood control commission at 7 will begin its regular monthly meeting, including the official launch of the website, the introductory presentation given to the Freeholders, and the monthly status update of the Army Corps of Engineers study of possible projects in Manville.
