Broker/sales associate Barbara Penny of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Metuchen/Edison will sponsor the 11th Annual Tower Area Garage Sale in North Edison on June 7, with a rain date on June 8. Starting at 8:30 a.m., the day-long event will include more than 30 homes, each hosting an individual garage sale. All participating homes are bordered by Grove Avenue, Route 27, and Calvert and Christie streets.

The event will be easily identifiable by blue and white balloons and directional signs beginning on Route 27 and Grove Avenue.
A resident of Edison Tower and active member of her community, Penny established this annual event in 2003. She is a member of the Metuchen Golf and Country Club, Metuchen Chamber of Commerce and the BNI Networking Group.
