Rugged Maniac will hold its fourth annual 5K race and obstacle course challenge on July 12 and 13 at Raceway Park, Englishtown.
Runners will face mud pits, fire, tubes, a 60-foot water slide, swinging pendulums and some new surprises.
The cost is $78 through June 20 and $90 during the week of the event. Students and military personnel with valid identification will receive discount pricing.

The daylong festival will also feature an array of entertainment including music, mechanical bulls, adult bounce houses, craft beer from Harpoon Brewery, food and exhibition booths.
