RED BANK — The 26th annual “Liberty Extravaganza” concert will be held at 7:30 p.m. July 6 at the First Presbyterian Church at Red Bank (Tower Hill), 255 Harding Road. Doors open 6:45 p.m. for the concert.
The concert will include music by the Liberty Choir, soloists and a brass ensemble. The choir is made up of singers from the church and community. Popular features of the all- American musical program will include patriotic favorites, gospel songs and audience sing-alongs to standards such as “Yankee Doodle” and “God Bless America.”
A stirring salute to the armed forces will pay tribute to the men and women who have served the nation in uniform. The evening will conclude with the raising of the grand flag.
A strawberry festival on the church patio will precede the concert at 5 p.m. Music will be provided by the Hot Taters band. Homemade strawberry desserts will be available for $5.
