Slavic dinner: St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church holds monthly dinner, 4 to 7 p.m., St. Mary Parish Center, 1900 Brooks Blvd. $13 for adults (ages 9 and up) and $5 for children (8 and under). Summer swimming: Community pools are open for the summer. Season tags on sale. $20 for seniors ages 50 and older, $35 for adults (15 and older), $35 for children ages 4-14 (they need to be accompanied by an adult), free for children younger than 3. Teens need to show proof of age by a birth certificate.
Bulk trash pick-up: Next collections are scheduled for July 15 and 29.
Blood pressure checks: Second Thursday of the month, 10:30 a.m. to noon, VFW.
