Book event offered for junior high students

The Metuchen Public Library, 480 Middlesex Ave., will present “Skullduggery: Scalp-Tingling Tales for Youngins (and the Young at Heart)” at 2 p.m. Nov. 23.

Four acclaimed storytellers will unearth a variety of beastly bones, nasty noggins and other grave secrets with authors Aaron Starmer, “The Riverman”; Clay McLeod Chapman, “The Tribe”; Claire Legrand, “The Cavendish Home for Boys and Girls”; and Alex Dawson, “The Rapscallion Club.”

This event is free and recommended for students in grades five through eight. Books will be available for purchase and signing by the authors. Refreshments will be served, courtesy of the Friends of the Metuchen Public Library.
