Rick Stromoski, a 1977 Edison High School alumnus and award-winning cartoonist, will present his career from its beginnings in Edison to present day at 7 p.m. Dec. 3 at the North Edison Library, 777 Grove Ave., Edison. A book signing to fund the Edison High School art scholarship will also take place.
Stromoski’s humorous illustrations have appeared in national magazines, children’s and humor books, newspapers, licensed products, national advertising and network television. He was inducted into the Edison High School Hall of Honor in 1999.
Stromoski will join Edison Mayor Thomas Lankey in lighting the township Christmas tree at 7 p.m. Dec. 4 on the grounds of the Heritage at Clara Barton, 1015 Amboy Ave., Edison.
