 Play Chess & Go will be held at 10 a.m. Jan. 3, 10, 17 and 24 at the Monmouth County Library Headquarters, 125 Symmes Drive, Manalapan.  Yoga for beginners will take place at 7 p.m. Jan. 14 and Jan. 28 at the Monmouth County Library Headquarters, 125 Symmes Drive, Manalapan.  Jeannie Geremia, the Garden Club of New Jersey’s Community Garden Chair and Bee GAP (Gardeners Adding Pollinators) Chair, will be the featured speaker at the Jan. 8 meeting of the Allentown Garden Club. She will teach ways to create a pollinator friendly habitat in every garden to grow the pollinator population, and will have examples of native bee houses, brochures and door prizes.  Dancing by the Peddie Lake with Candace Woodward-Clough will offer two four-week sessions of instruction in swing, foxtrot, waltz and Latin dancing. The first session will begin on Jan. 15 and the second session will begin on Jan. 16. For each session, beginner classes start at 7:30 p.m. and intermediate classes start at 8:30 p.m. Dance classes will be held at 112 Etra Road, Hightstown. The cost is $60 for the fourweek session.
