 Judie Jensen, the owner of Expressions and Reflections, Howell, will present the 12th annual recital showcasing the musical talent of her students in piano, guitar and voice at 2 p.m. Jan. 25 at Vanity Fare, 1600 Route 70 East, Lakewood.  Plumsted Youth for Nature and the Environment will sponsor its third annual Christmas tree recycling program. Old Christmas trees can be recycled as part of coastal dune restoration and protection in Bradley Beach. By recycling used Christmas trees along the sand dunes, the branches of the trees bind the sand together, helping to prevent beach and dune erosion. Bring trees to the Plumsted maintenance building parking lot at the end of Pine Street and off Magnolia Avenue. Trees can be dropped off 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 3; 1 to 4 p.m. Jan. 4; 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 10; and 9 to 11 a.m. Jan. 11. Volunteers will be on hand to help unload trees.
