The 2015 Freezing Cold Hash Run 3-mile and 5-mile group run will take place at 10 a.m. Jan. 3 beginning at Vidas Field, Durham Avenue and Hampton Street, Metuchen. A post-run party will take place at Hailey’s Harp and Pub, 400 Main St., Metuchen.
The cost is $20 for preregistered run and party by registering at the “Freezing Cold Hash Dismal Swamp” page on active.com. Registration is $23 by mail and $25 the day of the event. For more information, visit njlaws.com/freezing_ cold_ hash_ run.htm.
Participants must be over 21 years old and should wear old running shoes. Bring canned food items for the St. James Food Bank. Volunteers receive free beer, food, skull T-shirt, pirate backpack and skull bandanna. To volunteer, email [email protected].
