 Arkadiy Figlin, an international concert pianist from Lincoln Center and the School of American Ballet, will perform a program of classical, jazz and folk pieces at 2 p.m. March 7 at the Jackson Library, 2 Jackson Drive, Jackson.  On March 7 the Freehold Regional High School District NJROTC Academy from Colts Neck High School, Route 537 and Five Points Road, Colts Neck, will host an all-service JROTC drill competition. This event will feature JROTC high school drill teams from New Jersey and other states, as well as the Colts Neck High School Navy JROTC. The event runs 8 a.m.-4 p.m., is open to the public and free to attend. Competitive events will include armed and unarmed regulation; armed, unarmed and dual exhibition; color guard; and personnel inspection. Refreshments will be available for purchase all day.

 Plumsted Township Senior Outreach Services, 121 Evergreen Road, New Egypt, will host a free exercise class 10-11 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays on March 10, 12, 17, 19, 24, 26 and 31. New participants require a doctor’s permission form. Details: 609-758- 2241, ext 111.

 The New Egypt Elks, 105 Lakewood Road, New Egypt, will host a fish fry 6-8 p.m. March 13. The costs are $10 for a three-piece fish dinner; $9 for a two-piece fish dinner; $9 for a three-piece chicken dinner; $8 for a two-piece chicken dinner; and $5 for all children’s dinners.  Spring ham shoots will take place at Jackson VFW Post No. 4703, 54 Magnolia Drive, Jackson, 1-4 p.m. March 8. The shoots will be held every Sunday, except Easter Sunday, until May 17.
