Edison Township Public Library will host a free enrollment session at the Main Library, 340 Plainfield Ave., Edison, for the Affordable Care Act health insurance, 6-8 p.m. April 15. No registration is necessary.
The session includes information on how to navigate the www.healthcare.gov website and how to enroll for health insurance.
Certified application counselors will assist with enrollment and applications.
Bring the following documentation for all household members: Social Security numbers and any immigration documents; employer and income information (pay stubs or W-2 forms); and current health insurance plan information, if any. The enrollment period has been extended until April 30 by the U.S. government. Those who enroll now can avoid the fine.
