Repurpose fort as medical marijuana depot

Unfortunately, Fort Monmouth in Eatontown has not been a very enticing place for new businesses in 2015, especially considering the only news all winter was the fact that it was approved as an Ebola quarantine site.

Leaders tasked with bringing new industry and jobs need to think differently and welcome new ideas. One emerging economic opportunity that would fit perfectly at the former fort is medical marijuana. The buildings are empty and secure. There are no neighborhood issues and there is a hospital there already.

Currently, sick and suffering patients have no place to go in Monmouth County for medical marijuana except the street. That is unfortunate. Instead, we could create new jobs and health care opportunities for Monmouth County.
