By now, many citizens are aware that a segment of the 1 percent that controls the bulk of the wealth within our society is also in control of both major political parties, leaving the voter only with the appearance of control in the voting booth.
Hence, elections at every level of government become nothing more than election plays.
Taking back control of government at every level can happen at the public portion of the municipal governing body meeting, where the individual citizen expresses his or her will, recognizing that elected officials are required to follow the will of the people subject to the rights given to us by our Creator.
This is where a government for, of and by the people takes hold, and where government by the 1 percent loses its grip.
The public portion of the municipal governing body meeting is the key to controlling all other levels of government.
