New Beginnings Animal Rescue, 706-R Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, will host its first anniversary celebration noon to 4 p.m. May 9. The event is designed to thank the community for its support in making the shelter a success.
There will be complimentary refreshments, free gifts, prizes, raffles, face painting, children’s games and entertainment by the Coffee House Ramblers Bluegrass Band.
Adoption fees for all adult cats and dogs are waived for the month of May.
