World Tavern Poker hosts Texas Hold ’em poker games at 7 and 9 p.m. Mondays at American Legion Post 401, 148 Major Road, Monmouth Junction.
Similar to a dart or pool league, participants play for points, which give them a chance to move on to the local, regional and the national championship. Forty seats to the World Series of Poker are given away each year.
Participation is free. There is no cash or property gambling of any kind permitted.
