HOPEWELL BOROUGH: Thanks to all who made block party a success

Deb Stuhler and Sandy Brown
We want to express our thanks to everyone who came out to the eighth annual Hopewell Borough block party on Saturday, May 30, and made it such a huge success.
This year, close to 600 new and old friends gathered under the stars, shared stories, laughter, dancing, great food and beverages.
But who can have a townwide party without a lot of help?
First to our sponsors, a big shout-out: Anthony DePietro, Capital One; Antimo’s Italian Kitchen; Baxter Construction; Beechtree Farm; Brick Farm Market; Cromwell-Immordino Memorial Home; DANA Communications; David G Lanning, Plumbing and Heating; Ebb Studio; Hopewell Pharmacy; Hopewell Physical Therapy; Hopewell Playhouse; Morehouse Engineering; Muentener Home Improvement; Nomad Pizza; PNC Bank; Princeton Land Design; Robert Fuller: Capital Markets Management; Sandy Brown, Gloria Nilson & Co. Real Estate; Schulte Restorations; Sophia Rose Designs; T Johnson Design; The Bear and The Books; The Brother Moon; Total Home Manager; Union Line Garage; Valley Oil; Williamson Electrical Service Inc. and Zeely Vision.
We could not host this party without your support!
Next, to our local restaurants and liquor store, who provide all of the incredible food and help us defray costs — the awesome Nomad Pizza truck; Brothers Moon Restaurant, Antimo’s Italian Kitchen, Peasant Grill, the Pretzel Factory and the Historic Hopewell House.
A big thank you to Dana Communications, Witherspoon Partners-Hopewell LLC, Wislar Wealth Management and Nomad Pizza for the use of their land and electricity to host this terrific community event.
Thank you to Michele Hovan, Herb and everyone from the borough, who helped us with web coverage, the stage, tables and chairs.
A huge thank you to Sam Stuhler, Jeff Franz, Chris Fossel, Steve Schaeffer, the Nomad Pizza staff, Roxanne Klett and Tim Sutton for setup, security and cleanup work.
Kudos to our front door ticket sellers and collectors — Lisa Canzano, Jody Olcott, Cydney Perske, Beth Judge and Sue Seferian. Thanks for pulling off such a big job!
Thanks goes out to all of our celebrity bartenders — Greg Vafis, Jon Karp, Vince Janoski, Sky Morehouse, Michele Hovan, Roxanne Klett, Chris Fossel, David Mackie, Doug Robbins, Steve Schaeffer, Lou Young, Townsend Olcott and Bob Lewis.
This wonderful community gathering that brings friends and neighbors out “under the stars” could not happen without all of the help we receive from everyone.
Last, but not least, thanks to the Hopewell Valley News for our great press coverage.
