PLAINSBORO POLICE BLOTTER: June 12

Michael Moore, 29, of Linden, was arrested on outstanding traffic warrants from Hillside and Newark at 10:53 p.m. June 2 after he was stopped for speeding on Scotts Corner Road. He was also issued summonses for speeding, driving while suspended and careless driving. 

Jeffrey A. Fellows, 28, of Ravens Crest Drive, was arrested on outstanding traffic warrants for $647 from Old Bridge and South Brunswick townships at 7:25 p.m. June 2 at Café Rosario on Plainsboro Road. Mr. Fellows, who works at the restaurant, was interviewed by police during an investigation into the reported theft of an iPhone belonging to a Colts Neck resident that had been left on a table in the restaurant. The theft is still under investigation. 

Frederick H. Piell 3rd, 29, of Morrisville, Pennsylvania, was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated in a school zone, reckless driving, obstructing traffic, failure to maintain lane, being under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a hypodermic needle on Grovers Mill Road at 3:19 p.m. June 4. He was arrested after police responded to a call that a van was blocking the roadway. He was taken to the Middlesex County jail on $2,000 bail. 

Eddie Anzalone, 27, of Pheasant Hollow Drive, and Sheena Townsend, 31, of Pheasant Hollow Drive, were charged with simple assault at 11:57 p.m. June 7 following a physical altercation at The Addison, Building 12. Ms. Townsend was also charged with criminal mischief for throwing an Apple iPad belonging to Mr. Anzalone from the second floor balcony, causing it to shatter. The iPad was valued at $499. 
 Ceasar C. Cabrera-Calva, 24, of Sayreville, was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, tailgating, failure to maintain lane, driving with a suspended driver’s license, being an unlicensed driver, consuming alcohol in a motor vehicle and having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle after he was stopped on Route 1 at 2:29 a.m. June 7. 

Christopher Dias, 21, of Stratford, Connecticut, was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of crack cocaine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to signal, unclear plates, failure to exhibit registration and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle following a motor vehicle stop on Route 1 at 11:49 p.m. June 6. 

A Red Oak Drive resident reported the theft of her car from Marion Drive, where it had been parked, between 10 p.m. June 6 and 9 a.m. June 7. The car was recovered on Route 1 in Edison. 

A 17-year-old Princeton boy was charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving and speeding after he was stopped for speeding on Scudders Mill Road at 8:52 a.m. June 7. 

Joan M. Abrea, 32, of Deer Creek Drive, and Kaitlyn C. McGrath, 24, of Hampshire Drive, were charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of drugs in a motor vehicle on Hunters Glen Drive at 1:29 a.m. June 5 after a police officer saw two suspicious cars parked in the parking lot of Meadows at Middlesex Golf Course, and found one occupant per vehicle asleep inside. 

A car fire was reported at 8:20 p.m. June 8 at the intersection of Cranbury Neck Road and John White Road. Police found a 2008 Kia Rondo with fire coming from the engine compartment, and used fire extinguishers to contain the fire until firefighters from Station 49 arrived and used a hose to extinguish it. The car belonged to Joshua Z. Levy, 20, of Bradford Lane. 
 A vandal broke the window on a mini-excavator, causing $500 worth of damage, while it was parked in the courtyard at Building 6 on Avalon Bay Drive between June 1 at noon and 10:38 a.m. June 3. 
