WEST WINDSOR POLICE BLOTTER: June 12

A 23-year-old township resident reported that someone stole his Trek bicycle from the Princeton Junction Train Station Wallace Road bike rack between May 8 and May 11. The thief cut the lock and took the bicycle, valued at $200. The incident was reported at 9:45 p.m. May 11. 

Kimberly D. Landers, 44, of Carteret, was charged with shoplifting for concealing various items in her bags at Kohl’s at 200 Nassau Park Boulevard at 5:49 p.m. May 12. 

Brian B. Kelly, 19, of Trenton, was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana at 1:27 a.m. May 14 while he was sitting in his Jeep, parked at the Big Fish restaurant parking lot on Route 1 (Princeton Marketfair). 

A West Windsor Township couple were the victims of identity theft that occurred between Jan. 1 and April 7. When they tried to file their 2014 income tax return on Turbotax, they received an “already filed” response and were told that there was a duplicate Social Security number filed. The incident was reported at 9:50 a.m. May 14. 

Two township residents reported that a vandal knocked their respective mailboxes from their posts between May 24 and May 25. 

A 34-year-old River Edge resident reported the theft of their wallet from the coffee station at the Corner Bakery restaurant at Princeton Marketfair on May 25. The incident was reported at 10:43 a.m. May 25. 

Tashiana S. Nichols, 19, of Philadelphia was charged with forgery and attempted theft by deception for attempting to purchase a digital SLR camera and a 32-inch LED television, valued at a combined $716.88, at Best Buy at the Nassau Park shopping center with seven counterfeit $100 bills and a genuine $20 bill at 4:03 p.m. May 24. 

A 47-year-old Princeton resident reported the theft of his Trek bicycle, combination lock and black helmet while it was secured to the bicycle rack at the Princeton Junction Train Station between 9:30 a.m. and 8 p.m. May 29. 
