Open auditions for the Somerset Valley Players production of “9 to 5, the Musical” will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, June 29 and 30, at South Branch Reformed Church, 870 River Road, Hillsborough.
Callbacks will be July 2.
The show will be performed weekends from Sept. 11 to Oct. 4.
Director Christian Carrara is seeking seven men from ages 25-60 and older, and 10 women, age 20 to 60 and older.
Dolly Parton’s high-spirited musical adaptation of the hit movie shows the gleeful revenge of the office workers, as three hardworking and clever secretaries create corporate chaos while gladly turning the tables upside-down on their sexist and loudmouth boss.
Auditioners should prepare 16-32 bars of a song in the style of the musical. Bring comfortable clothes because there will be a dance portion of the audition. You may be asked to read from sides provided the night of your audition.
