Police are searching for a man who attempted to burglarize several homes on New Road in the Kendall Park section of South Brunswick Township during a 90-minute period, between 12:05 and 1:25 a.m., on June 13.
The burglar entered the homes by opening a first-floor window. In two instances, the homeowner saw the burglar in the house. The burglar spoke to the resident and then left.
In a third instance, he took the keys and stole a pickup truck that was in the driveway. The pickup truck was recovered in Franklin Township. Police have recovered evidence from the truck, as well as from the burglarized homes.
The suspect is described as a white male, about 6 feet tall and in his 20s. He was wearing a red baseball cap and dark jeans. Anyone with information should call the South Brunswick Township Police Department at 732-329-4646.
